Are Forms Mobile Friendly?

Yes! ITAM forms are very user responsive and optimized for touch devices.

Why is Two-Factor Authentication Required?

Security of your infrastructure and your information should be of paramount concern to your organization. With ever-escalating cyber criminal breaches globally, this is a very important security feature.

Save Your Work Often!

The IT Audit Machine is similar to other SaaS environments in that you are connected to our application from some location and in between us lies great distances with a plethora of technical obstacles. These obstacles may on occasion prevent you from saving your ITAM work.

Our advice for working within ITAM and ALL other cloud applications is to save your work often!

Pasting Text from Microsoft Word

When pasting text into your form field from Microsoft Word that contains automatically formatted index numbers, be aware that the numbers and letters for your index may change. This is a quirt with Microsoft Word and not associated with ITAM.

Our advice is to verify the accuracy of your entries.

Microsoft Word Embedded Macros

When working with ITAM Word or Excel form templates, remove all macros that are embedded into those documents before running your form. ITAM does not rely on macros and will not process them. If you are using a preexisting framework template as your base ITAM template, be sure to do this. ITAM will process and save your data but ITAM will not generate documentation. This is a quirt with Microsoft Word and not associated with ITAM.

How do I customize the styling of my form?

You can change the look and feel of your form by creating a theme. To create a new theme, click the Edit Theme menu and start customizing the look and feel of the form using the visual Theme Editor. Once you’re happy with the theme, save it and return to the Form Manager page. Assign your new theme to your form by clicking the Theme link on your form.

Why am I not receiving email notifications?

Make sure you have entered your email address in the email notifications setting page. If you have done so and are still unable to receive the email, your hosting company might require you to use an SMTP server to send the notifications. Go to Settings page and enter the details of your SMTP server there. Contact your hosting company to obtain these details.

How do I change the logo of my form?

You can change the logo by editing the theme of your form. Using the Theme Editor click the Logo menu and enter your image’s URL there.

My forms are not displaying through an iframe on my web site; why?

You will need to ask your ITAM Administrator to remove the web directive in your site configuration specifically looking for "Header always set X-Frame-Options DENY" that typically is in the ssl.conf file. This is the typical remedy however you may have other web protocol security systems implicated here to examine as well.
